Useful in the early stages of neck injury, the collar allows cervical musculature to rest and recover whilst the embedded silver ions are thought to accelerate healing through increasing local blood supply to the affected area. This support allows controlled neck motion so that excessive or unwanted movements are eliminated and muscles and tendons are not overstrained.
