Instructions for use

*Check with your doctor which level of compression you require

1. Measure to ensure correct size hosiery is applied for maximum comfort and effectiveness
2. Apply foot-first as if donning a sock
3. Position the knitted contours of the stocking over the correct prominences i.e. up around your ankle and calf etc.– don't pull the stocking, instead use the palms of your hands to gently massage the stocking up your leg
4. Smooth out any creases and never roll down your stockings while wearing them – this can affect how well they work and may restrict blood flow through your legs
5. Ensure the garment is correctly aligned and comfortable
6. Ensure the hosiery is not uncomfortably tight and blood flow is not restricted

To help blood flow in your legs avoid sitting, standing still or lying in bed for long periods. Take regular walks around the house and do gentle foot and ankle exercises when sitting down.
